Register for the Summer 2025 Semester
Whether you’re new to ACC or a returning student, registering for summer classes at ACC is easy and convenient. Are you a part of the ACC Free Tuition pilot program? For eligible 2025 high school and TX GED® graduates, your free tuition benefits start in Fall 2025. Eligible graduates from the high school class of 2024 can continue to use their free tuition benefits for Summer 2025 classes.
Free TSI & ESOL Testing: April 1 – August 31!
You may need to take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment before starting ACC classes. New students can find their nearest Testing Center and take the TSI test for free after completing the ACC application. No appointment needed.

When can you register for summer classes?
- March 30 – Current and former student registration starts
- April 3 – New student registration starts
- May 14 – Tuition deadlines begin
- June 1 – First Session: 10-week, 9-week & 1st 5-week classes start
- July 6 – Second Session: 2nd 5-week classes start

I am eligible for ACC Free Tuition. Can I take summer courses with my free tuition exemption?
It depends on when you graduate high school or complete your TX GED®. All free tuition-eligible students can start using their free tuition exemption the Fall semester after receiving a high school diploma/equivalency. So, if you are from the 2024 high school graduating class, your ACC Free Tuition will apply to summer courses!
Can I receive financial aid for summer courses?
Yes, full financial aid benefits can be applied during the summer semesters. Grants from your FAFSA application, scholarships, and federal aid are all available and may be used to help pay for your summer semester.
Are there fewer college classes available during the summer?

Can I take summer classes at ACC if I am enrolled in a different college/university?
